Support program for parents with children in grades K-5. Our K-5 Homeschool Support is tailored to each student’s needs. Parents love our program!
About The Program
The Broady Academy home school support program is designed to give parents the flexibility to decide when, where, and how their children learns educationally. We help parents prepare their children to continue in the online environment or return to a brick-and-mortar learning environment.
Our home school support program can be delivered as a remediation program for struggling students, a regular program, or as an accelerated program, based on parent objectives. We offer nationally standardized assessments to help parents determine the best program for their child. Additionally, each course; English, math, science, and social studies begins with a diagnostic assessment to give the learner credit for previous knowledge attainment.
The enrollment process begins with the receipt of the enrollment application, followed by a discussion between the parent and our enrollment specialist to discuss parental goals, objectives, and the learner’s previous school history. Once the parent has decided on a course of action and the tuition payment is received, a unique username and a password is issued. Initially, the learner is enrolled for a 3-month semester. After the initial semester, the learner will be enrolled on a month-to-month basis. All course work is completed online. Parents will use the Student Portal to access their learner’s course work. Parents will have access to their learner’s coursework 24 hours a day, 7 days a week affording them maximum flexibility to determine learner the time, day, and length of online sessions. The parent is the teacher of record; however, we assign an Academic Coach to assist. Additionally, parents can opt to purchase an individual tutor for their learner. Once the learner has completed the assigned coursework, a conference is held to decide next steps.
